What’s being done to protect the civilian infrastructure, should the worst happen? Power grids, public transportation (that may or may not depend on power, things like the metros and express elevators in tall buildings..).
How far has this warning extended? I know we don’t want to cause undue panic, but if it’s going to get extra frosty and our power gets ...

Sounds like me every time I’m home alone. :3 Black tea has more caffeine that’s released into your blood stream over a longer period of time - I’d try that first.
Of all the responses I thought I might get, advice to imbibe more caffeine wasn’t one of them.

It was never really mentioned, but I feel that now would be a good time; It is very difficult to get any rest when all the lights are on.
I also think that more than once I saw something looking back at me from the few shadows that we weren’t able to cast out.
This is one of the few times I would actually like a cup of good, strong coffee.

You know what you need? MIRRORWALLS. Like a gym, or a ballet class. MIRROR WALLS EVERYWHERE. Then you can use less giant floodlights, and the light reflects everywhere, and also then you can dance.

I’m not saying that installing 5 flood lights in my lab (all with redundant backup generators) was a waste of money, but what we’re losing in funding we’re gaining in sunburns.
All this ‘stay out of the shadows’ business is reminiscent of being told to not blink. Not even once.
